‘Arkenstoned’, Rilis Single Perdana
Keragaman latar belakang musik dari lima personil Arkenstoned ini menjadi pemersatu dalam membentuk visi musik mereka. Balutan distorsi dan hantaman keras nan liar di sertai nada harmonisasi menjadi pengiring lirik kemarahan menjadi suguhan single pertama Arkenstoned di lagu “Survival Mode“. Penggabungan progressive, jazz dan hardcore yang merujuk ke unsur metalcore sangat kental di lagu ini. Mengambarkan tentang seseorang untuk keluar dari tekanan kehidupan sekitar dan hampir membuat dirinya putus asa, hingga akhirnya dia menemukan satu titik balik untuk tetap memperjuangkan hidupnya.
Berkerja sama dengan Iphe Topan sebagai Producer dibawah naungan Three Sixty Musik, single yang diberi judul “Survival Mode” ini akan dilepas dalam format digital. Proses rekaman sebenarnya sudah berlangsung sejak pertengahan tahun 2014. Namun proses pengerjaannya sempat tertunda karena beberapa hal. Single ini menjadi perkenalan Arkenstoned kepada industri musik ekstrim di Indonesia sebelum merilis debut album mereka yang rencananya akan di rilis pada akhir tahun 2016.
Biografi :
Akenstoned band mathcore asal Jakarta. Nama Akenstone diambil dari nama batu yang terlibat dalam cerita fiksi populer dunia. Arkenstoned adalah sebuah batu yang mampu bersinar terang namun mempunyai sisi gelap seperti menggambarkan keadaan dunia sekarang ini. Berawal dari sebuah kesepakatan untuk mambuat project tentang ide musik yang berbeda, Indra Rockcat yang lebih dulu memulai karir musiknya sebagai gitaris session player beberapa musisi Indonesia seperti Viky Sianipar, Judika, Melly Mono dan Swara Wimayoga yang lebih dikenal sebagai bassist band J-Rock serta Sobron Haki yang juga pemain drum dari band death metal jakarta Panic Disorder, pada tahun 2012 mereka memulai untuk membuat materi dan mengarap EP selagi mencari vocalis. Pada tahun 2014, Arga Hermann (ex. Beuty Kill Beast) begabung untuk mengisi posisi vocalis. Di tengah proses rekaman Radit Nugroho (End Of Journey) diajak bergabung untuk konsep aransement dua gitar pada musik Arkenstoned.
